I believe every child learns at their own pace. Providing age appropriate activities gives each child the value of choice making, understanding their individual interests, and over all well-being and development. All while Learning through play and investigation 🤍
My goal is to provide a safe, happy place for children where they can learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially at their own pace. I believe children learn through play and benefit from a structured, yet flexible schedule. Activities will be offered which stimulate sensory motor development, language development and social interaction. The development of strong self-esteem is also a major goal. Children will be taught to respect each other, adults, and property.
I’m so happy to have 22 years teaching preschool.. I love that I’ll bring my experiences I had in the classroom, to my home. I have created a space where children can play, learn and develop and discover things at their own pace.
We will learn about gardening and Whole Foods each month...🍅🍓🫑
•The children will have weekly opportunities to tend to the garden.We will water it, plant seeds, and harvest our veggies and fruits. We will document our process along the way.
The children will be given opportunities to create experiments, (cause & affect) binoculars for bird watching, bug catchers for learning about nature and it’s creatures. We will study items with magnifying glasses and learn about the how’s and why’s!?
